Holiday eating

An almost completely primal Thanksgiving

It's a rest day, but we're still munching on turkey and leftovers here in Brummer-land. And even though I'm eating clean again, I didn't really loosen up too much for Thanksgiving. Excited about... tacos? Really?

Yes, really. This is what Andy and I cooked up for dinner tonight. It's grass-feed ground beef cooked up with mushrooms, peppers, onions and some spices, wrapped up in butter leaf lettuce with tomatoes and green onions. Delicious! I finally cut my spear down to the correct size Sunday afternoon. It was a long time coming -- nearly 2 years! I don't know why it never occurred to me to cut it. My weekend runs are definitely helping me. This morning's Crossfit workout was tough, but I think it's the best I've ever done with so much running. WOD: 800m run 15-9-6 Power Snatch (M 135 / W 95) Burpees 800m run I used the 45lb bar for the power snatch This form was tough for me to master, and I don't think I ever did. Andy and I had a fancy dinner last night at a fabulous restaurant downtown -- Bess Bistro. The restaurant buys all of its food from local and organic sources, so I love it.
